FAQ's

Q. What do I wear?

A. Always wear something comfortable. Something that you feel like you can move around in! During a photo shoot, you will need you to be able to pose and smile, those things are difficult when you are not comfortable. The best things that look well in pictures are usually bright colors, textured shirts, hats, etc. If you have any questions on the matter feel free to shoot me an email and I will gladly give you suggestions!

Q. Where do you usually shoot? What if I have young children, how do you accommodate?

A. I am a natural light photographer, so we will almost always do the shoot outside! The lighting is sometimes tricky when the seasons change, but that can be easily accommodated!   When we arrive at the location you've chosen (with my help if you wish), I'll talk with you and your children and get to know you all.  I set up most of the poses but I'm a strong believer in candid shots also. If your child decides to throw a tantrum, which is extremely normal, we'll document the event. It's important to me, to capture families interacting with one another.  Tantrums and all. :)

Q. How long does a photo shoot usually take?

A. A shoot usually takes at least an hour up to an hour and a half.

Q. When do you need payment?

A. I ask for payment in full the day of the session.  I take cash or check.

Q. How far in advance do I have to notify you for a shoot?

A. Short notice photo shoots are hard to schedule. If you need a shoot in less than one week, there will be a $25.00 fee. Please try and schedule at least 10 days ahead of time! Thank you!

Q. Do you shoot weddings?

A.  Yes! I LOVE weddings! A wedding day is one of the most important days there are in a person's life.  I feel so honored to a part your fabulous day!  Before you book with me I want to make sure I am a good fit for you, and our styles are alike. Q. Is there a deposit for weddings?

A. Yes, a $150 deposit will retain your wedding date.  Payment in full is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding.  Feel free to call or email with any questions!  I'd love to meet with you!

Q. Am I allowed to make a cancellation or re-schedule?

A. I do allow cancelations, but you MUST give me at least 3-4 week notice. If you have to cancel at the last minute, i will charge a it will $45.00 fee. Thank you for your understanding :)

Q. Can I edit the pictures that you have taken?

A. I ask that once you get any of my pictures, that you do not edit or change them in any way. I would sincerely appreciate that. If you are posting any of my pictures online, they must be labeled with my name. Thank you!

Q. When will I receive my pictures?

Editing usually takes 2- 3 weeks. Weddings usually take longer, but I will try and get them done as soon as possible.
